CBT Course Overview:

The Oracle Complete Certified Application Developer Track for Developer/2000 R2 Curriculum (Ver. 4)covers the following: This Introduction to Oracle: SQL & PL/SQL Curriculum (Ver. II) is based on the Oracle ILT, Introduction to Oracle: SQL and PL/SQL. The concepts of relational databases and the SQL and PL/SQL programming languages are covered in this curriculum. Students are taught to create and maintain database objects and to store, retrieve, and manipulate data. In addition, students learn to create PL/SQL blocks of application code that can be shared by multiple forms, reports, and data management applications.

The Oracle Develop PL/SQL Program Units Curriculum (V2) introduces the learner to the basics of PL/SQL subprograms. This curriculum covers the building and invoking of procedures and functions, and introduces the basics of creating and using packages. It explains how to create and execute stored procedures and functions, how to create stored packages, and discusses built-in server-side packages and their use in debugging stored subprograms. It also teaches how to manage stored subprograms and packages, and introduces learners to database triggers: how to create them and their application to complement the capabilities of the Oracle base product.

In the Developer/2000: Build Forms I Curriculum, students will learn how to customize forms with user input items such as check boxes, list items, and radio groups. In addition, modifying data access by creating event-related triggers will be covered. This curriculum in based on Developer/2000 Release 2, Forms 5.

In the Developer/2000: Build Forms II Curriculum, participants will use Project Builder to manage application files, create multiple-form applications, and learn how to manage multiple transactions across modules. In addition, enhancing applications with custom menus, reports, and charts will be covered. This curriculum is based on Developer/2000 Release 2, Forms 5.

In the Developer/2000: Build Reports Curriculum, students will learn how to retrieve, display, and format data in different styles to create reports. They will also learn how to customize more complex reports. This curriculum is based on Developer/2000 Release 2, Reports 3.

The Oracle Complete Certified Application Developer Track for Developer/2000 R2 Curriculum (Ver. 4) will help candidates prepare for the Oracle Certification exam, Introduction to Oracle: SQL and PL/SQL, exams 1, 1Z0-001, exam 1Z0-101, as well as, help the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) candidates prepare for the Developer/2000: Build Forms I, Exam 3, 1Z0-121, Build Forms II, Exam 4, 1Z0-122, and Build Reports, Exam 5, 1Z0-123.
