CTP is the convergence of three technologies -- voice, video and data -- into a single network is a major development in computer and communications technology.
The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) endorses CTP. TIA is a communications and information technology trade association whose members consist of companies that manufacture or supply the products and services used in global communications. CTP and CCNT (Certified in Convergent Network Technologies) fill the industry's need to conserve valuable training resources by offering industry-standards credentialing programs to reduce redundant training.
