Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks CBT Suite

Price: $499.00
CBT Course Overview:
The Computer Based Training Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks Suite consists of the courses Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks Part 1, Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks Part 2, Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks Part 3, and Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks Part 4. Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks Part 1 teaches advanced IP addressing concepts. This course also examines advanced IP routing principles, including static and dynamic routing characteristics, classful and classless routing, and automatic route summarization across network boundaries. Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks Part 2 examines Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), which is one of the most commonly used interior gateway protocols in IP networking. OSPF is a standards based routing protocol. Configuration and verification of OSPF within a Cisco router is taught. Each of the important OSPF commands is explained and described in an example. Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks Part 3 describes the features and operation of Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP). It teaches how to configure EIGRP. This course also introduces Intermediate System-to-Intermediate System (IS-IS) technology structures and protocols, as well as basic configuration examples. Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks Part 4 is the last course of a four-part series that prepares learners for the Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks Exam (BSCI 642-801). This course teaches the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and about manipulating routing updates. With multiple connections, the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is an alternative to using default routes to control path selections. Configuring and troubleshooting BGP can be complex. This course outlines the various options involved in properly configuring BGP for scalable internetworking. The different means of controlling routing update information is also covered in this course. Methods of controlling information between these routing protocols include using filters, changing the administrative distance, and configuring metrics. This NETg course also explains the configuration of policy-based routing using route maps.
